UL 1685 - Vertical-Tray Fire-Propagation and Smoke-Release Test for Electrical and Optical-Fiber Cables: Limits for each fire test to make the tests equally acceptable for the purpose of quantifying the smoke. The cable manufacturer is to specify, for testing each "-LS" (limited-smoke) cable construction, either the UL vertical-tray flame exposure or the FT4/IEEE 1202 type of flame exposure. The same test need not be specified for all constructions.

UL 2079 - Tests for Fire Resistance of Building Joint Systems: Tests applicable to joint systems of various materials and construction that are intended for use in linear openings between adjacent fire resistive structures without other unprotected openings such as windows.

UL 2083 - Halon 1301 Recovery/Recycling Equipment: Halon 1301 recovery/recycling equipment rated 600 volts or less, and intended to be used in ordinary locations in accordance with the National Electrical Code, NFPA 70. Halon 1301 recovery/recycling equipment covered by these requirements is intended for commercial use at a recycling facility to recover/recycle Halon 1301 from fire equipment/extinguishing system containers. These requirements apply to factory-built equipment having inputs of more than 400,000 Btu per hour (117 KW) (firing gas), and/or more than 3.0 gph (11.4 L/h) (firing oil), per individual combustion chamber and/or oil or combination gas-oil burning equipment which require flame failure and other safeguards and which are intended primarily for commercial and industrial installation.

UL 2171 - Field Conversion/Retrofit of Products to Change to an Alternative Refrigerant - Insulating Material and Refrigerant Compatibility: Test procedures to be used for the evaluation of the compatibility of an alternative refrigerant with hermetic motor-compressor insulating materials and lubricants used in refrigeration and air conditioning equipment when the alternative refrigerant is used to replace the existing refrigerant in existing equipment.
